The HP Indigo 7900 digital press is a spectacular, state-of-art press producing truly stunning quality print – and it’s just about to get even better, with the introduction of Silver Ink.
What can you do with silver ink?
Silver ElectroInk is being introduced to an already impressive range of inks. This will create a new gamut of metallic colours which can be produced, delivering high-value applications, while saving on media costs. This means that with the seven ink stations, Print4UK has the ability to mix up to 97% of Pantone® colours. This ink will be great on business cards, high end invites and direct mail campaigns.
Chris Brady, Print4UK’s managing director, stated that this massive investment means we now have a huge range of options that will not only keep our clients ahead of the game but will reduce their costs by streamlining the process and reducing timings. The recent Print Design & Marketing Awards 2019 and Digital Printer Awards 2019, in which Print4UK were finalists, were already a testament to the exquisite quality and abilities of the HP Indigo 7900 as well as the excellent partnerships we have with our valued clients. There is every expectation, with this additionality, further successes will follow.
Print4UK are in a small group of early adopters in the country embracing this technology and will be able to offer HP’s widest range of colour options that only the latest Indigo presses can produce. As well as metallic finishes the press can make use of special inks such as: fluorescents, fade resistant yellow, magenta and orange; invisible yellow and blue; and the ultra-opaque premium white, for example.
