Looking to the future.
Everyone at the 4UK Group has been working hard to reduce our emissions and, as a result, we’ve implemented procedures that not only reduce our environmental impact but also protect UK woodland forests and trees from further damage.
Eco-friendly
print.
Our state-of-the-art HP Indigo 7900 digital press delivers industry-leading print quality and creativity and is CO₂ neutral too. Inks are lead-free and biodegradable and have been awarded the Intertek Green Leaf Mark verifying they conform to multiple existing environmental regulations.
When it comes to litho print, only vegetable-based inks are used wherever possible and a water-based plate processing that complies with environmental standards is operated.
Climate
commitment.
Whether it’s the materials or machinery we use or the methods of transportation – national or international – our ecological demands of ourselves and the businesses we work with are high. This, along with our commitment to being socially responsible, makes us the only choice of printer in these environmentally challenging times.

Working with Premier’s Carbon Capture programme run in partnership with the Woodland Trust.
Since the start of Print4UK Ltd’s Carbon Capture involvement in November 2018, every month Print4UK have captured approximately 4.5 tonnes of CO₂, helping to create approximately 116 sqm of new native woodland simply through paper purchases from Premier.
Based on 116 sqm of woodland Print4UK has helped to fund an amazing 19 trees* per month! A fantastic achievement!
Print4UK has made a commitment to Carbon Capture®, helping to plant trees and further promote the initiative to clients which, overall, contributes to the government’s targets and commitments to NET-ZERO!

Always Looking Forward
Print4UK is fully committed to supporting clients in their ongoing pursuit of enhancing their ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ through their printed marketing and communication collateral.
We achieve this through various initiatives that include responsible paper sourcing and implementing energy-saving and ecological printing solutions, which collectively make us a formidable and sustainable print partner.
Paper Buying, Responsibly
The ‘FSC®’ mark (Forest Stewardship Council) on printed marketing collateral is your brand’s assurance to your clients and stakeholders that your printing only uses materials that come from sustainable and managed forests. Print4UK is FSC® registered and just one of the initiatives that make the materials we use among the most sustainable.
Through our paper supplier, we’re also enrolled on a Carbon Capture Programme that sees a percentage of the cost of materials we purchase directed to the ‘Woodland Trust’ that to date, has helped plant over 480,000 trees across the UK over the lifetime of the trees, will see over 110,000 tonnes of C02 captured.
Sustainable Printing
Our state-of-the-art HP Indigo 7900 digital press as well as being industry-leading in terms of print quality is CO₂-neutral too. This is achieved using lead-free and biodegradable inks that have earned the prestigious Intertek Green Leaf Mark, ensuring compliance with key environmental regulations.
When it comes to litho print for longer print runs, we use vegetable-based inks where possible and water-based plate processing. Together, this ensures the most traditional printing process complies with the most stringent environmental standards that are demanded today.
Logistics
Our delivery service, both national and international is a key part of our service. That’s why we are in the process of converting our vehicle fleet to both hybrid and electric.
For both the nationwide and international deliveries, our logistic partners all comply with our demands of being sustainable through the use of electric vehicles meeting and reducing CO₂.
But before we even deliver your orders, the way we pack your orders is also key to the sustainability of what we do. That’s why we seldom use plastic boxes for our business cards unless a client requests this and the way we protect your order for transportation is done sustainably too with recycled wraps and biodegradable fills used.
The Workspace and Factory
Equally crucial to our sustainability efforts is our own workspace and factory environment.
Our building is equipped with low-energy LED lights, with sensor-operated lights in areas like bathrooms for optimal efficiency. All computers now utilise energy-saving screens, and at the end of each workday, they are powered off, with PCs set to standby mode and office lights switched off.
On the factory floor, all print machinery is transitioned to standby mode at the end of production and fully shut down at the close of business whenever feasible.
