Can print still be tangible?
As we evolve to living a life where we are afraid to touch something, we have to adapt our process in print and rethink how can we make print still be as tangible as before.
Last autumn, as the hospitality sector started to open up, throw away menus appeared to be the quick solutions for many restaurants. Print in bulk, use it once and dispose of it, no cross-contamination or raised eyebrows.
At Print4UK, we were very quick to respond to the global pandemic, finding and sourcing a solution for posters, menus, notebooks, warning signs, to name but a few. We wanted our clients to feel safe and they could still use print and touch it.
Anti-bacterial lamination is revolutionary, it has all the qualities of normal lamination and more. The product has been tested and reported to have surface protection qualities and eliminate 99% of bacteria.
Why is it so revolutionary?
The anti-bacterial lamination is no different in appearance to the ordinary lamination, looks great, protects documents from wear and tear and finally seals the printed matter from any moisture damage.
The lamination is self-cleaning however, wiping the surface reactivates the effectiveness which gives the product a longer shelf life.
How does it work?
The science behind the lamination is phenomenal, tried and tested silver ion technology is used within the lamination which creates a barrier for the bacteria to spread.
Is it still a recyclable product?
Absolutely, 100% recyclable which means the longevity of the product is outlived the disposable print that is thrown away after one use. Your carbon footprint will grow as you help the planet by reducing the toxic fumes entering the atmosphere, saving trees and reducing waste.
We all still want to be able to read, touch and hold print, the beautiful outcome is, we still can whilst continuing to help the environment. Menus or tent cards with QR codes to view online menus, leaflets, brochures, posters, business cards, loyalty cards, direct mail campaigns… the list can go on as the possibilities are endless for a safer return into the community.
