How history is driving new opportunities…

…I had just come out of my weekly B2B Expo catch-up with my team when the email came through confirming what I’d been fearing for a few weeks now…

Due to the impact of the coroner virus, the B2B Marketing Expo at London’s Excel is being postponed

This was to be the first of many dominos to fall as more and more clients got in touch to postpone or cancel orders due to the pandemic.

Fast forward to today and lockdown has shown just how much we value communicating with others and although interaction has been through a screen these past few months, we’ve been able to talk and see the faces of the ones we love thanks to Zoom and other apps.

Learning from history

Whilst those same apps have allowed us the same level of communication with our teams and clients, added commercial challenges have made that difficult at times…clients being furloughed being one.

Although it remains unclear what the business landscape of tomorrow will look like, what is clear from a marketing perspective is that history shows that brands that continue to have a strong and effective marketing presence during economic slow-downs tend to come out stronger than the brands that don’t.

Right now, your marketing tool kit may be feeling a little on the light side because many of the usual go-to tools such as Exhibitions, Meetings, Networking Events not to mention of course those Business Lunches to are firmly locked away.

However, as you continue to work hard solving your client’s existing problems, new problem-solving opportunities will also develop…both will need to be marketed.

Updating the Marketing tool kit

To support you with this, I am delighted to tell you about our new brand – “Branded 4UK”. This exciting new addition to our service ensures we can support you even more with an extensive range of Corporate Branded Merchandise, POS and Visual Communications.

Whilst this adds another exciting step to our product and service timeline, what remains unchanged is our continual commitment to your brand to deliver quality and consistency in the most environmentally responsible way possible.

Now maybe the perfect time to review and update your marketing toolbox, so why not get in touch with me now.
